Pilot Rise
Dallas and Fort Worth flight school that lists every aircraft by tail number on a dated rate sheet.
Dallas and Fort Worth, Texas. Part 61 or Part 141 is not stated on the pages we read.
What sets it apart
Its rate sheet, updated September 19, 2026, names every charge beyond the hourly rate: a refundable deposit, a fuel surcharge, a late-cancel fee and a $10 a month fee for inactive accounts.
What the page prints
Cessna 172 at $165 to $180 an hour wet, Cessna 150 at $130, instructor $65 to $70 an hour.
Taken from the school's own page. The school says the hourly aircraft rate includes fuel. The page itself shows the date 2026-09-19.
| Item | Per hour | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Cessna 172 N738TZ (Garmin 500, air conditioning) | $180 | |

One dual hour
$235 per hour. Cessna 172 at $165 plus instruction at $70. This adds the two published rates. It is not a quote, and it is not like for like with schools that include different things.
Fees and terms the page names

Students who want every charge written down before they sign up.
You prefer prepaid block rates; it does not offer them.
Watch out for
- A fuel surcharge applies while fuel is above $5.75 a gallon (effective May 11, 2026), so the wet rate can rise.
- The $1,500 deposit is refundable minus outstanding charges.
- The page lists no private pilot total.
